Jane Woodie

Mrs. Woodie is a graduate of Northmont and the Ohio State University
and is currently serving her 22nd year on the Northmont Board of Education. Jane was one of
the first volunteers to become a member of the levy committee in 1990 (Citizens for Northmont
City Schools) and in 1990 she received the Northmont Friend of Education Award. Mrs. Woodie
demonstrated her organizational, management and communication skills with her colleagues at
the bank in which she began her career in 1978 and also when she began her career at a
retirement community 2000-2017. While working at the bank, Jane served as Vice President of
Education and President of the Institute of Financial Education, Dayton Chapter. Jane earned a
Master Certificate of Training for the “Parent-to-Parent Program” which she facilitated in the
Northmont community for many years. While at the retirement community, Jane was the Director
of Human Resources, Director of Brethren Home Community Services and Director of Mission
Support. Jane, along with the members of the Yensel family and the Yensel Golf Committee,
organize the Coach Bill Yensel Memorial Golf Scramble and will be hosting their 26th golf outing
this coming July 27th. Over the years, the golf outing has generated $126,200 in scholarships
awarded to graduates of Northmont High School.
